Restrata Meshed is a pre-meshed electrospun fiber matrix. It is an expandable version of Restrata and part of the Restrata family of soft-tissue repair products.

About Restrata

Restrata is an engineered, fully resorbable, electrospun fiber matrix whose architecture resembles human ECM and supports cell ingrowth, retention, and differentiation. Representing a new approach to the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, Restrata utilizes the advantages of synthetic construction to launch a new era in healing.

Chronic, Diabetic Foot Ulcers

Has Restrata been used in conjunction with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy?

Restrata has been used in conjunction with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy. For best results, ensure that Restrata is adequately fenestrated and the pressure is reduced.

How do I store Restrata?

Restrata has a two-year shelf life from the packaging date when stored at ambient temperatures. Refer to the expiration date on the product box for details. There are no special storage or handling requirements. Store at room temperature and avoid excessive heat or humidity.

Is there a specific requirement for applying Restrata (i.e. top or bottom)?

No, there is no specific orientation required for application.

Should I remove partially resorbed Restrata?

Pieces of Restrata that are adherent to the wound should be left in place. Pieces that are non-adherent to the wound should be removed and the wound debrided. Re-apply Restrata as needed.

What sizes of Restrata are available?

Restrata is available in several sizes to reduce waste. Currently, the following sizes are available:

What types of dressings can be applied over Restrata?

Primary dressing: Non-adherent dressing.
Secondary dressings: For dry to light exudate, adding hydrogel is recommended. For moderate to heavy exudate, fenestrate Restrata to allow for drainage to pass through and utilize appropriate absorptive dressing.
Dressing products can be used safely after application of Restrata.
It is recommended that clinicians manage primary and secondary dressing changes as appropriate.
