Restrata for Soft Tissue Healing

Product Benefits

  • Resists enzymatic degradation, maintaining its structure to support soft tissue formation before fully resorbing via hydrolysis1,3,6-8
  • Is fully synthetic, free of human or animal tissue, and does not require temperature monitoring or tissue tracking12,14,26
  • Performs in hostile wound environments1,9
  • Demonstrates minimal inflammatory response, neovascularization, and organized collagen deposition in newly formed tissue following application of Restrata1,2,32
  • Reports an average skin graft take rate of over 95% in a compendium of clinical publications of acute surgical wound reconstruction13
  • Supported by numerous peer-reviewed publications including Level I clinical evidence13
  • May offer cost efficiencies in the OR by reducing product applications and wastage with 3 form factors and 19 sizes

Indicated for wound management including surgical, full-thickness, and traumatic wounds12

Restrata for Soft Tissue Reinforcement

Product Benefits

  • Designed to mitigate wound breakdown or dehiscence, potentially reducing complications in high-risk patients and threatened closures14,15,20,21
  • When implanted underneath a primary skin closure, offers subcutaneous mechanical support to support areas at risk of post-surgicalcomplications14,15
  • Tensile strength similar to human skin and maintains some strength for 7-10 daysafter implantation, reinforcing subcutaneous closure during the 5-10 daywindow where the risk of dehiscence is the greatest2,22-24,28,31

Indicated for implantation to reinforce soft tissue where weakness exists, in patients requiring soft tissue repair and/or reinforcement in plastics or reconstructive surgery14
