Product Benefits

• Designed to mitigate wound breakdown or dehiscence, potentially reducing complications in high-risk patients and threatened closures ^14,15,20,21
• When implanted underneath a primary skin closure, offers subcutaneous mechanical support to support areas at risk of post-surgical complications ^14,15
• Tensile strength similar to human skin and maintains some strength for 7-10 days after implantation, reinforcing subcutaneous closure during the 5-10 day window where the risk of dehiscence is the greatest ^{2,22-24,28,31}
